PARENTS / KIDS

Parents, you are the spiritual leaders of your homes. Your children are looking to you for direction, encouragement, and support. The focus of Bethel’s Kids Ministry is to partner with leaders and parents to create a community in which kids learn to trust God’s character, experience God’s family, and enjoy an authentic relationship with Jesus.

We have three goals to see our families grow in here at Bethel. 

Authentic Faith - a relentless pursuit of a passionate relationship with God. This is a faith that is rooted in Scripture, reliant on hope, and established in the love and grace of God.

Significant Responsibility - providing students opportunities to do meaningful work in the church, training to do the work of the ministry (Ephesians 4:11-12) and doers, not just hearers, of the Word (James 1:22)

Ends of the Earth/Mission - sending out fully equipped students to live out their authentic faith beyond the walls of the church both here in Rochester and wherever God leads in the whole earth! 

INFANTS & TODDLERS 

Our Infant & Toddler Rooms are ready for your kids! Park in the main parking lot and enter through the portico doors, or the East Ave parking lot. Enter the main sanctuary and go to The Hub to check-in your kid(s) at the kiosks. After you sign your child(ren) in and receive their name tag, you can bring them to class in the Noah’s Ark hallway. (Follow the signs, ask one of our Kids’ Ministry Team members, or see an Usher.)

Classes are open for the entire service, with their own worship. Though they are welcome to join the adults too.

We also have our Family Room in the back of the sanctuary for those who need to stretch and wiggle. There, parents can be with their kids and watch the service on TV. Feel free to bring in a snack, coloring pages, and toys. 

PRESCHOOL & ELEMENTARY
[ 4 yrs - 6th Grade ] 

Our preschool and elementary classes feature fun ways to learn about God.

Park in the main parking lot to enter through the portico doors, or park in the East Ave lot. Enter the main sanctuary and go to The Hub to check your child(ren) in at the kiosks.

Kids stay and worship with their families until they are released. During offering, the kids will go to The Hub for our Ministry Team to escort them to Kids’ Church. (Note, children must be checked-in before they leave the sanctuary.)

On the FOURTH SUNDAY of each month, sign in your child(ren) at the kiosks as usual and then bring them to The Gallery where they’ll have their own worship set before Kids’ Church.

 

Nursing Mothers & Family Room

Each Sunday we offer a private area for nursing mothers, equipped with a changing table and a TV to view the service. It’s in the sanctuary, near exit door on the corner of East Ave and Union St, close to The Hub.

If you’re a family that would like to stay together for the service, but just need a little more space, check out our Family Room in the back of the sanctuary. It too has a TV to view the service. Feel free to bring toys, crayons/coloring pages, and snacks.

Wednesdays

From September - June, while the adults are attending Wednesday Night enrichment here at Bethel, our ELEMENTARY KIDS (ages 6 - 11) have Kids Club! It’s a time of mentoring/discipleship where your kids will learn how to walk as a Christ-follower, while having FUN, gym-time, crafts, etc. Just sign them up when you register for your class.

Pick up is at 8pm.
